You can now invite partners, vendors, and clients to be Commenters without a paid license. The Commenter role is now part of your free guest allowance, alongside Viewer.

Commenters can view boards, subscribe to cards, and communicate through comments — making this the right role for external stakeholders who need visibility and a voice without editing access.

Previously, only the Viewer role was available to free guests. Paid licenses now cover only the Administrator and Collaborator roles.

To invite someone as a free guest Commenter, open your board and go to Board Settings > Members.
