We’ve added two new configuration options under Board Settings to help Admins achieve greater consistency and control over how cards are created and where they appear.

1. Restrict Cards to Always Start With a Template

You can now require that all new cards be created from a card template.

When this restriction is enabled, users must select a template when adding a card. This ensures standardized formatting, structure, and content from the start.

2. Set a Default Container for New Cards

You can also specify a default container for new cards created through:

• Add Card in the left navigation
• Create Cards by Email feature

This is perfect for streamlining intake processes or triaging incoming work.
