🔒 2-Factor Authentication

We have implemented two-factor authentication for Flokzu users. This new security method gives you additional protection by requiring a unique verification code each time you log in from an unknown device.

How does it work?

• New devices: When logging in from a device you have not used before, you will receive a verification code in your email. You will need to enter this code along with your username and password to access your account.
• Known devices: If you log in from a device you have already used, you will be able to access directly with your username and password, without the need for additional codes.

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account, making it significantly more difficult for unauthorized people to access your data, even if they know your password.

Who does it apply to?

Two-factor authentication applies to users who authenticate with username and password managed by Flokzu.

It does not apply in the following cases:

• Google or Microsoft login. In both platforms it is possible to configure 2-FA to log in to your accounts.
• Login with SSO or LDAP. In this case the authentication policies are delegated to your organization's system.
